How To Attach Fence Panels To Posts
Learn how to install panels in a few easy steps
Panels are one of the most efficient ways to install a fence.

Panels are a convenient way to install safety barriers, and a temporary fence, and can even be used for other things like garden and lawn protection, or dog kennels.
STAY-TUFF has a variety of impact and rust-resistant panels for your everyday needs.
But do they work with wood posts or metal posts? How many fence posts will you need? Here’s a quick run-through:
Plan before installing
Always start with a plan before digging for post holes and your installation.

With the help of a map, always make sure you are installing within your property line. It is also recommended that you inspect the ground for utility lines, avoiding them will ensure that you do not run into unwanted risks or inconveniences.
Choose your type of post, measure, and dig
STAY-TUFF panels work great with wood posts, concrete, or metal posts, choose according to your budget and/or preference.

You will need to dig post holes for your installation. As a general rule, a hole should be at least one third of the total length of your post.
This measure can change depending on the ground and soil.
Determining the post distance is the next step. STAY-TUFF allows for greater distances between one and the next post, thanks to the high tensile wires used on panels and fences.
Remember: proper spacing is paramount for a stable fence.
