The smooth wire puller is used to tighten smooth
or barbed wire. The two wires to be joined are locked into the two
self-clamping jaws and then pulled together by winching the jaws up
the chain.
Alternatively you can pull a guide wire by wrapping the chain around
the end post while tightening the guide wire.
The tool comes with 4' of chain for ease of use and has cast alloy
jaws that will not wear out.
Not only can this tool be used to strain a guide wire or build
braces, it also can be used to repair or tighten fences. This tool
